We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to build, structure, and own our technical purchasing operations from the ground up. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing electronic and mechanical components critical to our unmanned systems, managing supplier relationships across Europe, and ensuring our supply chain holds up under real operational pressure. This is a hands-on role where you will directly shape how we procure, negotiate, and deliver, keeping our engineering teams equipped and our production timelines intact. You will work closely with design, workshop, and quality assurance to make sure every component that enters our supply chain meets the standard of our systems' demand.
-
Procurement ownership: national and international sourcing of electronic and mechanical components, tools, and services across both strategic and operational levels.
-
Supplier ops: identify, select, coordinate, and evaluate suppliers. Build relationships that scale with us.
-
RFPs & offer comparison: run structured requests for proposals, cut through the noise, and bring data-backed recommendations to the table.
-
Contract & price negotiation: negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with national and international partners — directly and confidently.
-
Supply chain resilience: track orders, flag risks early, and resolve disruptions before they hit the production floor.
-
Cross-functional collaboration: tight loops with design, workshop, and QA. You clarify technical queries, support change requests, and draft complex contracts together with the team.
-
Your background fits: you hold a degree or completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a comparable technical field — and you've put it to use in a purchasing environment.
-
Electronics procurement is your turf: you have in-depth knowledge of electronic manufacturing purchasing and solid basic knowledge of mechanical components.
-
Languages locked and loaded: German at C1, English at B2. Negotiating across borders is second nature to you.
-
Structured under pressure: parallel projects, complex orders, shifting priorities — you stay organized and keep everyone informed.
-
Proactive, not reactive: you don't wait for supply chain problems to escalate. You see them coming and you act.
-
ERP experience: you've managed procurement workflows through an ERP system.
-
Startup DNA: you're used to building structure, not just following it. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down.
-
First professional experience: internships, working student roles, or early career positions in technical purchasing are a clear plus.
Real impact & ownership: Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one
Mission-driven environment: Work on technologies that matter for European security and sovereignty
Competitive package: Competitive salary, EGYM Wellpass, corporate benefits, and equity options aligned with role and level
Deep tech environment: Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge drone technology and real operational use cases
Grow fast: Steep learning curve for juniors, strategic influence and leadership opportunities for seniors
Startup mindset meets defence innovation: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and space for your ideas.
Flexibility: Flexible hours, remote options, and relocation support
Strong team: International, driven colleagues and a culture built on exchange, trust, and shared success
