The Role The Technical Services Team works around the clock on utilities and infrastructure systems to maximize performance and availability. Through a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance they ensure these systems operate as intended, and when they don't, they're returned to service as soon as possible. The Technical Services Team is looking for an experienced Process Lead (m/f/d) who can build and lead a team of Engineers and Technicians to plan, build and extend all facilities required for Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg.
What You'll Do-
Build, grow and lead a team of engineers and technicians that will oversee maintaining and operating the following systems:
o Liquid and Gas Tank Farm
o Electrolyte
o Natural Gas
o Dust Collector
o HVAC
o Dehumidifier VOC Exhaust system

Be a key stakeholder early in the construction process of Gigafactory Berlin, to ensure efficient lifecycle costs, reliability, and operability of the factory

Capacity Planning: Capacity requirements for facilities maintenance, waste management and recycling

Monitoring compliance with standards, guidelines and regulations.

Coordinate downtime activities and needs between technical services, construction, and production.

Incorporate all improvements and best practices into site specifications and standards

Investigate ways to reduce the cost of maintenance and operation.

Understand and apply Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) concepts and root cause failure analysis to open-ended problems

Investigate ways to reduce the cost of maintenance or improvement projects

Independent handling of authority requirements including participation in discussions with authorities and experts and coordination of external companies

Independent decision making on planning details, control of the implementation and ensuring the transfer of information within the team.
What You'll Bring-
Background working as an process engineering, maintenance or operation lead in manufacturing environments

Experience in maintenance management of industrial facilities and utilities, Natural gas and HVAC systems.

Prior people/team management experience

Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Proficient in technical German and English is mandatory. Further Languages are of advantage.

Strong relationship management and communication skills.

Experienced with Microsoft packages (e.g., Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and MS Project)
