What you'll do
-
Purchase order processing – Create, track, and follow up on POs in the procurement/ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and timely delivery confirmation.

Supplier master data & documentation management – Maintain and update supplier records, contracts, and pricing agreements; ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.

Invoice & three-way-match support – Assist with matching invoices against POs and goods/service receipts, and help resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.

Sourcing and quotation support – Collect and compare supplier quotes, support RFQ/RFI processes, and help prepare comparison sheets for category buyers.

Reporting & process support – Support spend analysis and reporting, help maintain procurement trackers/dashboards, and assist with ad hoc process improvement or digitalization projects.
What you'll need

Currently enrolled student (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field

Ideally with a focus or interest in procurement, logistics, or operations

Strong proficiency in data analysis

Fluent German and good English

Available for at least 12 months, ideally longer

Personal Skills:
Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable way of working
Good communication skills — comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams
Proactive, hands-on mindset, willing to take ownership of recurring tasks
Ability to work independently once onboarded, while knowing when to escalate
Comfortable working in a fast-paced SaaS environment -
Languages: German and English

nice to have:
First internship or working student experience in procurement, logistics, or finance
Familiarity with an ERP or procurement tool (SAP, Coupa, weclapp, etc.)
Interest in SaaS/tech industry business models
Basic understanding of contract terms or commercial/legal basics (useful given Retarus's contract-heavy vendor landscape)
