Enpal is transforming its ERP landscape from a traditional D365 F&O setup into an Agentic Enterprise, a clean D365 core with an AI-native execution layer on top. AI-native product squads, organized by E2E process domain (D2O, O2C, P2P, SCE, R2R, MDG), replace traditional workstream towers. Each squad includes a Business Intent Owner (BIO), a Technology Orchestrator, Context Engineers, and Harness Engineers. This role sits in ERP Engineering and is a core contributor to building the agentic operating model that will power Enpal at scale.
As Engineering Manager ERP, you lead the team responsible for the technical heart of Enpal's agentic enterprise: Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and the AI-native execution layer being built on top of it. You are both a technical leader and a people manager. You steer the transition from a heavily customized, fragmented D365 landscape to a clean-core, max-standard platform and you build the engineering capability to deliver agentic extensions, integrations, and agent harnesses at the speed the transformation demands.
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP & ARCHITECTURE
Define and execute the ERP engineering strategy: transition from a customized D365 landscape to a clean-core, max-standard platform with agentic extensions built within clean-core guardrails
Evaluate the current D365 F&O landscape: architecture, customization debt, integration patterns, performance, data quality, and adjacent system dependencies and define the transformation path forward
Own the technical architecture for the agentic layer: agent harnesses, MCP/A2A integration standards, runtime pipelines, guardrails, and monitoring infrastructure
Ensure all D365 customizations are reduced to the minimum, only where legally required or business-critical, and that every extension decision is tested against clean-core fit, cost efficiency, and platform alignment
DELIVERY & ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE
Oversee end-to-end D365 F&O development and integrations: clean technical design, code quality, documentation standards, and release governance
Implement strong DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for smooth, predictable releases and deployments, including agentic build, test, and ship cycles
Design and scale integrations with Enpal's broader tech ecosystem: CRM (Salesforce), IoT, Azure, Snowflake, Aryza, Kyriba, and the Microsoft AI platform (Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric)
Ensure the D365 core is the trusted system of record: deterministic ledger, traceable decisions, full audit trail, the foundation that makes agentic operations trustworthy
PEOPLE LEADERSHIP & TEAM BUILDING
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of ERP developers and engineers, including hiring, onboarding, and developing talent as Enpal scales across 30+ legal entities
Foster a culture of engineering excellence and ownership: AI-native delivery mindset, clean-core discipline, and continuous improvement
Balance innovation, scalability, and operational stability across a fast-growth environment with continuous business unit onboarding
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Senior ERP Architect, or Technical Lead with strong people leadership in a modern engineering environment
In-depth expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX/AX2012, including customization, integration, and architecture
Proven experience conducting independent ERP technical assessments and translating findings into actionable roadmaps
Deep expertise in D365 F&O architecture, LCS, Azure DevOps, and integration design
Hands-on background in software engineering (C#, X++, .NET, Azure, or similar cloud-based stacks)
Experience with or strong interest in agentic AI engineering: MCP/A2A standards, agent harness design, LLM integration, or AI-native delivery models
Deep understanding of core ERP process domains (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement) and the ability to translate business complexity into clean technical architecture
Experience building and leading teams that deliver scalable, stable, and high-performing systems in a fast-growth environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical domains
Fluent in English; German is a plus
