We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA (m/f/d) reporting to EMEA Logistics Manager based in our Liederbach, Germany office.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of IRONMAN events across EMEA by supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics and supply chain activities. Working closely with suppliers, forwarders, warehouse teams, and cross-functional partners, the Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA will help ensure branded and non-branded event materials are ordered, delivered, inspected, prepared, and available where and when they are needed. The role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, hands-on, and motivated by the pace and energy of live event operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee supply chain processes, including collecting design data, confirming order quantities, and preparing final purchase orders for event and non-event branded bulk items.

Monitor order deadlines and send timely follow-ups to colleagues regarding missing information.

Support the Supply Chain Manager with regular analysis of check-in numbers and independently place necessary reorders.

Support the Supply Chain Manager in establishing supplier order deadlines and sharing them with the relevant IRONMAN departments.

Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers regarding routine order and delivery questions.

Assist with design processes and design approvals, coordinating approvals with departments such as Marketing and Operations.

Handle short-term order requests.
-
Schedule and manage communications around incoming bulk deliveries with suppliers and forwarders, in close coordination with the local warehouse team, including proactive support with unloading all types of bulk shipments.

Responsible for incoming inspections of all bulk items, including quantity and quality checks, and taking appropriate action in cases of non-conformity.

Prepare bulk truck packing lists.

Prepare customs documentation, including packing lists and commercial invoices.

Coordinate bulk truck loading in Liederbach and onsite arrivals with local teams.

Support the resolution of missing bulk items onsite.

Coordinate the preparation and inventory management of non-branded bulk items after the race season, with a focus on ordering new equipment to ensure the warehouse is restocked for the first race.

Process invoices.
Additionally, this position involves general warehouse tasks as outlined above, and the Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator will be expected to dedicate sufficient time to these tasks on an ongoing basis. This may include assisting onsite at events across EMEA in a logistics capacity and at other warehouse locations across EMEA as needed, as well as supporting the local warehouse team with Tour Truck unloading and German warehouse inventory.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in sports or events management, or business administration.

Initial experience in logistics or event supply management is welcomed.

Fluency in English and German is required.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional partners.

Analytical and structured thinking, with strong attention to detail and diligence.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires new process creation, process improvement, and project management.

Extended work days and travel will be required whilst attending assigned onsite events.
