What you can expect from us
We are seeking a dedicated Bid Manager (gn) to join our growing international sales team. In this role, you will be the operational backbone of the sales organization: driving the end-to-end bid and proposal process, coordinating seat shows, proposals, and contracts, and maintaining our CRM and bid reporting, and ensuring smooth collaboration between Sales, customers, and internal departments including Engineering, Program Management, and Finance. The role is based at our facilities in Immenstaad and Markdorf, Germany, and can involve occasional travel to customer meetings and trade shows.
Your Responsibilities

Manage and track customer proposals and bids end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and on-time submission

Maintain and continuously improve the CRM system, bid data, and pipeline reporting to support informed decision-making

Act as central point of coordination for the bid team, customers, and internal departments such as Engineering, Program Management, and Production

Plan and coordinate seat shows and customer seat demonstrations, aligning seat samples, schedules, and stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Program Management

Lead pricing, bid preparation, and commercial documentation in line with global guidelines

Monitor bid status, submission deadlines, and customer commitments to ensure flawless execution and high win rates

Prepare bid reviews, presentations, and win/loss analyses for management and regional sales meetings

Report to the VP Global Sales and contribute to the continuous improvement of bid and sales processes, tools, and workflows

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in bid management, proposal management, sales operations, or a comparable commercial role, ideally within an international industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong organizational skills with a structured and detail-oriented way of working

Confident handling of CRM and ERP systems and MS Office

Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a service-oriented and team-focused mindset

Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German and additional languages are an advantage

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Hands-on mentality, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to take ownership
