The minimum salary under the collective bargaining agreement for Job Category 4 in the first year is €47,810.14 (full-time equivalent based on 14 monthly salaries); a higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience. This salary information applies only to Austria; salaries in Germany are subject to the respective regulations
Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!
You own the full preparation of the installation phase for onshore wind projects across Central Europe, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery through to handover to the Site Manager
You manage 10-15 projects simultaneously, translating technical and commercial requirements into robust installation plans
You act as the main point of contact for customers during project preparation, advising on requirements, managing expectations, and supporting customer satisfaction
You verify that site infrastructure meets Vestas standards and project specifications, and coordinate solutions for any deviations
You coordinate installation partners, including crane suppliers, transport providers, installation crews, HSE, site facilities, and security teams, to ensure seamless project readiness
You identify and address risks early while keeping schedules, budgets, and project performance reports accurate
You apply Vestas' Construction Project Execution standards consistently across all projects
You align installation resources with contractual commitments and cross-functional business needs
You contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, new installation concepts, optimization projects, and prototype deployments that help shape the future of project delivery
Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role
You hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, engineering or another technical field and have worked in installation, construction, or project management
You have a background in the energy sector, crane or transport operations, civil engineering, or a similar environment where you were accountable for project outcomes
You are familiar with crane operations, site logistics, and installation workflows from direct project experience
You apply HSE requirements consistently and promote a safety-first mindset in complex field environments
You have experience managing suppliers, contracts, and commercial discussions
You pair solid financial acumen with a structured, process-focused approach
You are proficient in MS Office and SAP; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
You are fluent in both English and German, develop strong relationships, and skillfully align stakeholder expectations across all levels
You put safety and customer satisfaction at the center of every decision and activity
You stay open and direct, make timely decisions, and keep commitments through to completion
You organize tasks well and adjust promptly to shifting project priorities
You are detail-oriented, results-driven, and skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
You identify challenges early and address risks before they affect delivery
You are prepared to regularly travel to our construction sites to meet with our teams
