- Coordinating key supplier issues as a service provider for the Biberach production plant and regional plant procurement.
- Development and implementation of supplier plans, development initiatives, and strategies in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conducting supplier visits, on-site evaluations, reviews, and escalations.
- Establishing stable and efficient supply relationships with a focus on quality, delivery performance, capacity, costs, and collaboration.
- Technical and commercial coordination with suppliers in close collaboration with plant purchasing, quality assurance, engineering, and production.
- Proactive identification of risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and standardization of supplier development processes, tools, and work methods.
- Technical training with continuing education, a bachelor's degree in a technical field, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in supplier development, supplier management, quality, production, technical purchasing, or a comparable role in an industrial setting.
- A strong technical background and an understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, quality requirements, and industrial supply chains.
- Experience working with suppliers, conducting supplier visits, managing initiatives, and negotiating.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and data-driven analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
