Junior Accountant (with IT Affinity or Background) (m/f/d)

Core Responsibilities

Support ongoing financial accounting activities (general ledger and subledgers)
Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Perform account reconciliations as well as analyze and clarify accounting matters (e.g. accruals, foreign currency valuation, intercompany topics)
Actively contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system within the Finance department
Actively participate in the optimization and further development of financial processes

Qualifications & Education

Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or related fields, certified accountant (“Bilanzbuchhalter”), or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Strong experience working with ERP systems
Solid knowledge of accounting in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Affinity for IT and digitalization
Proficient in MS Excel
Structured and analytical approach to complex matters
Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
High level of accuracy and strong understanding of numbers and processes
Team player with strong communication skills
