Time Scheduler / Work Preparation Engineer
Your Responsibilities
- During tender preparation for national or international building projects in the "High-Tech" sector (e.g. data centers), you will be responsible for the preparation of the construction schedule across all phases and milestones.
- You will identify and assess construction time optimization potentials as well as opportunities and risks in the design and construction process.
- You will transform tender schedules into reliable contractual baseline schedules, working schedules, or detailed trade-wise and specific schedules. You will analyze subcontractor delays and develop countermeasures for an on-time delivery.
- During project execution, you will be a permanent member of the site team, maintaining these schedules with regular planned vs. actual comparisons.
- You will integrate results from the weekly Last Planner meetings and monitor subcontractors concerning their schedule commitments and construction obligations.
- In addition, you will implement and maintain a meaningful internal and external reporting system. Prepare progress reports, schedule analyses, presentations. Assist in claim/change order analysis using forensic scheduling.
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
- You possess well-founded experience in work preparation and time scheduling on complex building projects, ideally in the construction of data centers or other advance tech projects ("Mission Critical Facilities").
- You have good to excellent knowledge of Primavera, Astra Powerproject, and MS Project
- High motivation, team and communication skills are second nature to you.
- Good German and English language skills, both spoken and written, are essential.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Germany and neighboring European countries mean an exciting challenge for you.
