About melu kids
melu kids is a fast-growing e-commerce brand based in Berlin. We design, produce and sell personalized name labels for children — mainly through Amazon across several European marketplaces and the US. Our products help families keep track of everyday items like clothing, lunch boxes, bottles, school supplies and more.
We are a small, hands-on team of around 15 people in Berlin, combining in-house production, operations, design, marketing and marketplace management. We move fast, care about quality, and like working with people who take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
The Role
We are looking for a Part-Time Project / Product Manager to join our Berlin team for 20–32 hours per week.
This role sits between operations, Amazon marketplace management and marketing/creative. You will work closely with our Operations Manager and our Amazon/Marketing team to improve existing products, launch new ideas, optimize processes and make sure projects actually move forward.
This is not a heavily corporate project management role. We are looking for someone practical, independent and commercially minded — someone who can understand a problem, structure it, follow up with the right people and drive things to completion.
What You’ll Work On
- Manage and coordinate product and e-commerce projects from idea to execution
- Work closely with operations, production, design and Amazon marketplace teams
- Help improve existing products, listings, workflows and customer experience
- Support new product launches and marketplace expansion projects
- Analyze customer feedback, reviews, returns and operational issues to identify improvements
- Coordinate tasks across teams and make sure projects stay on track
- Create clear briefs, timelines and follow-ups
- Turn loosely defined ideas into structured, actionable projects
- Help us build better internal processes as we continue to grow
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in e-commerce, Amazon, marketplaces or consumer products
- Strong project management skills and a very hands-on working style
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Commercial thinking and a good understanding of customer needs
- Structured, reliable and proactive communication
- Comfortable working with different teams at the same time
- Fluent or strong English skills
- German language skills are a strong plus
- Experience is more important to us than degrees, certificates or formal qualifications
Nice to Have
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central
- Experience with physical consumer products
- Experience in operations, product management or marketplace management
- Understanding of listings, reviews, customer support, production workflows or supply chain topics
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or small business environment
