Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 incidents across Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange
- Troubleshoot and support network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks)
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage assigned tickets end-to-end, ensuring SLA and GDPR compliance and accurate documentation in Freshservice/Freshdesk
- Provide bilingual (German/English) user support via phone, Teams, email, and remote sessions, translating technical issues into clear guidance
- Support continuous improvement by creating knowledge base articles, participating in cross-functional projects, and identifying recurring issues for process optimization
Your Profile
- 3–5+ years of IT support experience, including hands-on Tier 2 escalation support in a corporate IT environment
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology) and good understanding of GDPR in IT operations
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows clients, Microsoft 365, Intune, Teams, Exchange) and endpoint management
- Solid networking and security knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security concepts) with proven troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills and the ability to provide user support and documentation in both languages
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Cisco CCNA
- Experience with ITSM tools (Freshservice, Freshdesk) and endpoint imaging/MDM solutions
- Familiarity with SOC/SIEM tools or incident response processes
- Experience with network printers and enterprise print environments
