The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP) is looking for a full-time Climate Program Associate to join our European office, based in Berlin, Germany.
Who are you?
You are committed to IATP’s mission and values. You are a passionate researcher, writer, and advocate focused on the intersections of climate change and food systems, who understands the harm an export-driven, industrialized food production system has on local food economies, nature, and farmed animals. You are committed to working within civil society coalitions and expanding their impact. As a strategic thinker, you identify opportunities for effective policy change. You’re a good communicator who makes a clear and compelling case for your ideas to a range of audiences. You value science and you understand politics and power. You champion the public interest and support good policy for farmers, food and farm workers, consumers, and ecosystems. Attentive to detail, you can balance priorities to meet deadlines without missing opportunities as they arise.
