Taxfix is going AI-first with full speed - and Finance at Taxfix is leading by example: We are looking for an expert professional who will be leading both the transformation of financial processes and implementation of AI in the Taxfix financial systems infrastructure. The focus is on improving our core operational finance processes further through automation and best-in-class practices - and to keep evolving them as AI reshapes what's possible both inside and outside our company and its AI-native platform.
This role demands subject matter expertise in finance, technology, and leadership across dialogues with senior leaders, product and technology experts, as well as incumbent finance team to ensure both planning and implementing of the financial systems infrastructure roadmap over time while ensuring resilience, compliance, cost effectiveness, and scalability.
Your impact will be visible across the firm including the most senior stakeholders. You'll define and own the roadmap end-to-end, from architecture decisions and change, to hands-on ERP configurations and design decisions, on to bespoke additions and refinements to all financial systems, while further embedding automation and AI into how financial systems and the Finance team operate at Taxfix. As part of this transformation you will lead a dedicated and highly motivated team.
This is in essence an architectural role where you are the finance team’s anchor co-evolving the a financial system total that meets growth in product complexity, R&D and infrastructure development, as well as strategic ambition. As such, the ability to sketch out a finance roadmap and implementation game-plan amidst such strategic context and growth ambition is key. This is paired with senior stakeholder management and delivering implementable projects with the day-to-day team.
The ideal candidate has a double spike amidst this context: historically a finance professional by training and with first-hand expertise across all core finance processes (order-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay), followed by years of hands-on finance systems work, automation and ERP experience blending more recently into AI, advanced analytics, business process workflows, and finance transformation projects. Your accounting literacy and sensitivity for audit-ready data and systems are matched by your technical depth.
the “other way round” works just as well: a data engineer or leader with a more technological background by training, historically, to meanwhile having transitioned into complex business and finance projects. As such, core finance processes including treasury and financial planning systems with reconciliation procedures are ingrained in your way of thinking and working, and by now you have been responsible for financial systems for years in your current role. You have been delivering results across financial system builds utilizing Precoro, Netsuite, Pigment, Chargebee and Abillify or similar, as well as driven wider best practices across accounting and treasury system transformations, all of which are complemented by more advanced developments of the last 2-3 years around AI workflows, vibe coding, business process and systems transformation put to work.
All of these render you a “builder” of the near future at Taxfix: a leader across topic and strategic dialogues for finance with company leadership internally and with strategic partners delivering financial technology to Taxfix externally.

Professional technical qualifications matter (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent standards in finance - or engineering); strong practical experience and demonstrated results delivery carry equal weight
