What tasks can you expect with us?

Administration, maintenance, and optimization of our PostgreSQL databases
Ensuring data integrity, availability, and security
Performing performance analyses and implementing optimization measures
Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies
Supporting the planning and execution of database migrations
Collaborating closely with developers to optimize database queries and schemas
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting database-related issues
Documenting database architectures, configurations, and processes
Automating database installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks

What do we want from you?

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in administering relational databases
Solid experience with SQL and database design
Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies as well as performance tuning in PostgreSQL
Experience with Ansible is a plus, but not required
Linux knowledge is an advantage
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) is a plus
Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to work
Excellent communication skills in English
