The Chair of Materials Handling and Warehousing (FLW) at TU Dortmund University is looking for a
student / research assistant (m/f/d) to support current projects and teaching activities. The following
list provides an overview of possible tasks. Depending on your interests and profile, the tasks may
vary.
Your possible tasks:
- Support the setup, commissioning and further development of current robot platforms (e.g.,
mobile robots, drones), including sensor integration
- Conduct and evaluate experiments in robotics and computer vision, including with event, 360°
and fisheye cameras
- Generate synthetic camera data using simulations and graphics engines (e.g., Unreal Engine)
for training and test datasets
- Record, annotate and prepare real camera datasets using various sensor systems
- Research current methods and technologies in robotics, computer vision and blockchain
- Support scientific publications and presentations
