This individual will play a key role in shaping how Molex supports engineers through the early stages of the design journey by developing technical content narratives aligned to business imperatives, emerging market trends, and customer challenges.
Our Team
Molex is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to help drive the strategy, development, and technical enablement of content that supports engineers designing next-generation electronic systems and architectures. This role serves as a bridge between Engineering, Product Management, Business Units, and Marketing to translate complex technical solutions into credible, application-focused content that accelerates customer understanding, design-in activity, and ecosystem visibility.
What You Will Do

Drive the strategy and execution of engineering centric demand creation initiatives across key growth markets and technologies, including AI infrastructure, data center, automotive, industrial automation, robotics, medical, and high-speed connectivity applications.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Units to identify emerging high-value architectures and customer design challenges suitable for targeting.
- Develop and lead teams to create technically credible marketing content.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, approachable content suitable for digital experiences, engineering audiences, distributors, and ecosystem partners.
- Support the development of solution-focused marketing assets.
- Ensure technical accuracy and engineering credibility across all content.
- Partner with digital and web teams to optimize technical content for discoverability across traditional search, AI-driven search experiences, and answer engines.
- Monitor industry technology trends, emerging architectures, standards activities, and competitor positioning to identify opportunities for new content and solution narratives.
- Support customer engagement activities, trade shows, technical demonstrations, and strategic initiatives where technical storytelling is required.
- Help establish scalable processes, governance, and standards for technical content development and publication across Molex.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Extensive years of experience in electronics, interconnects, semiconductors, infrastructure, or related technical industries.
- Strong understanding of electronic systems, connectivity solutions, and engineering design workflows.
- Experience interpreting schematics, system architectures, datasheets, and technical design requirements.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to engineering and non-engineering audiences.
- Familiarity with high-speed connectivity, power delivery, signal integrity, thermal considerations, or subsystem integration concepts preferred.
- Experience supporting technical marketing, applications engineering, product marketing, or solution architecture activities preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD/EDA ecosystems, digital engineering workflows, and emerging AI-driven engineering discovery behaviours is a plus.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
