The Opportunity
This position is based in Wiesbaden within our Diabetes Care business (Abbott GmbH – 1106). Our Diabetes Care division is dedicated to helping people manage their diabetes through life-changing products that deliver accurate data for better-informed health decisions. Through our innovative sensing technology, we are revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels.
As Finance Manager DACH, you will act as a trusted finance business partner for the commercial organization across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, support business growth through meaningful financial insights, and contribute to the continued success of Abbott Diabetes Care in the DACH region.
This role reports to the Financial Controller DACH and offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders within the region and international organization.

What You’ll Do
Partner closely with the ADC DACH commercial leadership team and provide financial guidance to support strategic business decisions
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
Lead month-end close activities and deliver flash reports, commentary, and variance analysis versus key benchmarks
Develop and monitor financial KPIs to evaluate business performance and ROI of commercial programs
Support forecasting and planning cycles
Perform headcount and financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
Analyze large and complex data sets, including price-volume variance analyses and ad-hoc reporting
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and timely responses
Provide training and guidance on financial processes, systems, and compliance standards
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Approximately seven years of experience in finance or controlling, ideally within an international or matrix organization
Fluent German and English language skills are essential – applications without professional German language proficiency cannot be considered
Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or other fast-paced commercial environments is considered an advantage
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions and seniority levels
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach
Ability to translate complex financial topics into clear business recommendations
