Location/Division Specific Information
We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the top tier products globally in their respective markets.
We are looking for a motivated student assistant / working student (m/f/d) to support our team in the laboratory. This role is ideal for someone interested in modern analytical systems, hands-on laboratory work, and technical development.
A Day in the Life:
You will support our team in the laboratory with the setup, assembly, and testing of prototypes and contribute to experimental work. Your tasks will include conducting measurement series on modern analytical systems, particularly in the field of mass spectrometry (MS), as well as supporting the evaluation and preparation of measurement data. Depending on your interests and skills, you may also contribute to the mechanical and technical development of experimental setups and instrument prototypes.
Keys to Success:

You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field of study.

You have a strong technical aptitude and enjoy solving practical problems.

You are comfortable working hands-on with mechanical components and standard workshop tools.

You are not afraid to work with electronic components and technical systems and are interested in understanding how they function.

You work in a focused, structured, and careful manner.

Programming skills, preferably in Python, are desirable.
