Territory Sales Manager

South-West Germany (Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland; field-based, residence in the greater Heidelberg / Mannheim or Rhine-Main area required)
Division:
Uniphar Medtech – CoRRect Medical GmbH
Employment:
Full-time, permanent

About Us
Uniphar Medtech is a leading partner for innovative medical technology. In Germany, CoRRect Medical GmbH (part of the Uniphar Group) represents a highly specialised neurovascular portfolio – from acute stroke intervention to the elective treatment of cerebral aneurysms and vascular malformations. We bring technologies where they save lives.
Your Mission: More Than Just Sales
In this role, you won’t be selling catalogue products – you will bring life-saving innovations for mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm and flow-diverter therapy and neurovascular access directly into the angiography suite and the neuro-intervention lab. You are the strategic partner for interventional neuroradiologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons, playing a key role in elevating patient care across south-west Germany.
Your Playing Field: South-West Germany – Heidelberg at the Hub
The territory spans Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland – from Heidelberg and Mannheim as the central hub across Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Freiburg, Tübingen and Ulm to Frankfurt, Mainz, Saarbrücken, Trier and Kassel. With approximately 22.7 million inhabitants and a dense landscape of ten university hospitals, maximum-care providers and neurovascular centres, it is one of the largest and strongest-performing territories in our DACH organisation. Around 95 % of all relevant procedures sit within a 200 km radius of Heidelberg.
Your Profile: Neuro-Intervention Expert or Passionate Hunter
We are looking for a highly motivated individual – whether driven by years of sales experience or by deep clinical expertise. In our eyes, both paths are explicitly equal.
The Entrepreneur: You operate like a “CEO of your own territory”. You love winning new business (hunter mentality) but are equally skilled at developing existing accounts sustainably.
Career Changers Welcome: You come from neuroradiology, radiology technology (MTRA/MTR), the stroke unit, neuro-intensive care nursing or the angiography lab? We value your clinical insider knowledge! We will invest in your commercial development and support your transition into a sales role.
Requirements
Completed vocational training or degree in a commercial, clinical or technical discipline – e.g. medical technology, healthcare management, radiology technology (MTRA/MTR), neuroradiology assistance, nursing (stroke unit, neuro-ICU, angiography/cath lab, OR), biomedical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device sales or comparable complex B2B sales in clinical settings. Alternatively: minimum 3 years’ clinical experience in interventional neuroradiology, neurology/stroke care, neurosurgery or neuro-intensive care with a demonstrable interest in transitioning to a commercial role. Direct mechanical-thrombectomy experience is a plus but not a prerequisite – broader neurovascular exposure (coiling, flow diverter, carotid stenting, AVM embolisation) is equally welcome.
Proven track record in new business acquisition (hunter) and/or systematic account development (farmer). This territory offers both: established relationships at the university sites across BW, Hesse and RLP (incl. Heidelberg, Tübingen, Freiburg, Frankfurt, Mainz) plus development potential among specialised hospitals, hospital groups (Sana, Agaplesion, BBT, Helios) and maximum-care providers across the region.
Confident and composed in the clinical environment: angiography suites, neuro-intervention labs and intensive care units are familiar territory – or you are ready to make them familiar quickly.
Understanding of the German hospital system (DRG, NUB, procurement processes) and of the procurement logic of the large hospital groups (Sana, Agaplesion, BBT, Helios) is a plus.
Fluent German is essential; English skills are an advantage.
Residence required in the greater Heidelberg/Mannheim area or in the Rhine-Main region (Frankfurt/Mainz). High willingness to travel across the entire territory (>60%, 150+ accounts). Valid driver’s licence (Class B).
