What we expect
- Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases based on specifications, including creating test data, updating test steps, and documenting results.
- Document, analyze, and track test results, including logging defects and following up on their resolution in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Support the QA team in daily testing activities, contributing to the validation of new and existing functionalities.
- Independently test new features based on requirements, identify defects, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Maintain test-related documentation and ensure transparency of testing progress and outcomes.
- Review and enforce QA adherence to Azure DevOps workflow standards, including ticket completeness, traceable test coverage, evidence attachment, defect validation, and proper linkage between PBIs, bugs, test cases, and features throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or master’s student in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, or related field.
- A conceptual understanding of software development life cycle and testing principles, with a willingness to further develop skills in this area.
- Initial hands-on experience in software testing, ideally also from a development perspective
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and/or Confluence is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong quality mindset with attention to detail and a structured way of working.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, actively supporting others and asking for help when needed.
- Ability to independently test features, analyze issues, and contribute to problem-solving in testing activities.
- High level of ownership and motivation to ensure software quality.
