You will lead stakeholder engagement, steer delivery, build team capabilities, and strengthen the standards that enable scalable, efficient execution.
What you will do:
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, frame priority problems and value levers, and translate demand into AI and Data Science project proposals with clear roadmaps, rollout paths, and success metrics.
- Lead delivery oversight across cross-functional expert teams and large-scale projects, steer the project management of complex AI use cases, remove roadblocks, drive adoption, and ensure quality, performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and business impact.
- Build tooling and reusable delivery enablers that accelerate AI project execution, improve efficiency, and reduce cost.
- Define standards, templates, and playbooks for AI delivery, process redesign, rollout planning, and benefits tracking to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Lead content development in projects and challenge teams on content quality to sharpen problem solving, strengthen storylines, and ensure high-quality, impactful project outcomes.
- Drive the AI transformation agenda for DHL Data &AI by shaping service offerings and ways of working, supporting stakeholder communication and upskilling on C-level, and managing key AI-related forums and committees.
- Lead and develop a team of 5–7 experts by building a strong team identity, managing individuals’ career progression, providing regular feedback, and preparing people evaluations.
- Support the future growth of the organization by interviewing new candidates or by representing DHL Data & AI at events and conferences.
What you bring:
- You bring an outstanding academic and professional track record.
- You bring at least 6 years of experience and a strong track record in management consulting, as well as 3+ years of leading larger teams on complex projects.
- You excel at structuring ambiguous business challenges, framing the right problem to solve, and translating client needs into clear project plans that deliver scalable AI solutions with tangible business value.
- You build trusted, lasting stakeholder relationships, bring clarity to ambiguity, and consistently turn early ideas into successful projects.
- You have a strong interest in AI and data topics and the ability to quickly build depth in complex technical areas.
- You communicate complex technical decisions clearly and simply, bridging effectively between technical and non-technical audiences.
- You lead with a people-centered mindset, see yourself as both manager and coach, build trust quickly, and combine empathy with a pragmatic, outcome-oriented approach.
- You are highly driven, take ownership naturally, and are energized by shaping the direction and culture of a fast-growing organization.
- You are fluent in English; international experience gained through work is a plus.
