Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing skilled, compassionate care to critically ill patients while supporting safe outcomes through thorough assessment, timely intervention, and close collaboration with the care team.
- Assess and monitor patients with acute, complex, or neurocritical conditions, identifying changes in status and escalating concerns promptly.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans, clinical protocols, and safety standards.
- Manage patient care priorities in a fast-paced critical care environment while maintaining accuracy, focus, and composure.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized patient care.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, care plans, and recovery expectations using clear and compassionate communication.
- Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care updates accurately in the medical record.
- Support a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement through adherence to evidence-based nursing practices and team communication.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Language Skills: Minimum B2 German certificate (or equivalent proven proficiency). Strong communication is essential for patient care and documentation.
Professional Recognition:
Priority 1: Candidates with full German professional recognition (Urkunde/vollständige Anerkennung) are highly preferred.
Priority 2: Candidates with B2 German who are not yet fully recognized, but have a complete set of documents and a realistic recognition pathway. Our client will fully support and guide you through the official German recognition (Anerkennung) process.
Documentation: You must possess clean, organized documentation regarding your nursing qualifications, language certificates, and current recognition status.

To ensure a smooth visa and professional recognition process, all candidates must meet the following baseline criteria:
Language Proficiency: Minimum B2 German level is strictly required. This is a mandatory prerequisite for both the immigration/visa pathway and the German medical/therapeutic recognition process.
Completed Qualifications & Home-Country Registration: Candidates must have fully completed their professional studies. Crucially, they must hold full, active registration and authorization to practice without restrictions in their home country (e.g., a nurse must not only have a diploma but also the official license/registration to practice in their jurisdiction).
