What's the role?:
As part of the Rendering Services team at HERE Technologies, you will build the automation and tooling that supports the development, testing, and delivery of our global map rendering services. The team operates high-performance, scalable rendering systems across automotive, web, and mobile platforms — serving data to millions of users worldwide. Your work will help engineers move faster, improve quality, and keep our delivery workflows reliable at scale.

You will design, implement, and maintain the automation, internal tooling, and GitLab pipelines that our engineering teams rely on every day. This is a software engineering role focused on building reliable developer workflows and solving hard technical problems with code. A typical week might include designing a pipeline architecture for multi-region deployments, writing a Python service that orchestrates test environments, or debugging a build failure that traces back to a problem in the service.
You should be motivated to explore solutions, deliver high-quality software, work outside your comfort zone when needed, and enjoy learning new technologies. You'll contribute to architectural decisions alongside senior engineers and grow your skills and ownership over time.
