Your tasks:
- Management of the project group and the major project handled there (approx. 10 to 100 M€)
- Disciplinary leadership, motivation and further development of the project group staff.
- Professional leadership and motivation of employees assigned to the project who are not members of the project group.
- Implementation of the project management methodology within the project group
- Central point of contact for the project in the company, for customers and suppliers
- Advice and coaching of project employees in order processing
- Ensuring a high level of planning quality for deadlines, costs and services of the project Monitoring and control of order processing with the aim of securing results including risks, opportunities, residual points, warranty and receivables
- Implementation of personnel, budget, capacity and material cost planning for the project group, its implementation and monitoring
- Ensuring complete and correct project and PM documentation and reporting
Education:
- Completed studies as a mechanical, shipbuilding, civil, electrical or industrial engineer or natural scientist or comparable
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience in project management in the field of technical capital goods, preferably in shipbuilding
- Several years of professional experience (>=10 years) in the management of project staff
- International project management experience desirable
- Demonstrable success in the management of complex large-scale projects
- If possible, certification in project management, e.g. IPMA/ PMI
- Experience in the qualification of employees in the field of PM methodology and PM competence
- Independent, professional, structured, team- and solution-oriented way of working
- Ability to work in a team, communication skills and commitment
- Sound knowledge and confident handling of all Microsoft programs
- Practical handling of ERP programs
- Good German and English
