What you'll own
- The vehicle inspection app — the mobile tool our inspection teams use in the field to assess, document and process vehicles. You own it end to end: design, build, maintain and improve it from concept to production
- Field-grade performance — our inspectors use this app in vehicle yards, on dealer forecourts, on weak connections. You profile, debug and optimise until it holds up in the real world, not just in the office
- AI-first development — coding agents, LLMs and AI-assisted development are part of the daily workflow here, not a pilot project. You decide where they accelerate the work and where they don't
- Technical bar — you set the standard for state management, networking, camera/media handling, offline-first architecture, and UI components. Your code is clean, testable and reviewed
- Architecture and direction — you shape technical decisions together with product managers, designers and backend engineers who own the broader inspection and logistics platform
- Team growth — you mentor less experienced engineers, review their work and raise the standard of the whole team
- Staying sharp — you track what moves in Flutter, Dart and mobile development and bring the tools worth adopting into the team
What you bring
- 3+ years of professional experience building production apps with Flutter and Dart
- Proven depth in complex mobile applications — state management, networking, API integration, camera/media handling, UI/UX components
- Command of mobile fundamentals — performance optimization, offline-first architecture, security and accessibility
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery
- An AI-native way of working — you use tools like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot actively in your development workflow and have real judgement about their limits
- English at C1 level — you communicate clearly across an international team
- Based in Berlin or ready to relocate
Nice to have:
- Experience building apps used in field or operational environments (logistics, inspection, field service)
- Experience with camera integration, image processing, or document capture on mobile
- Automotive, marketplace or B2B platform background
- German at B2 level
