Job Description:
Driven by the harmonization of our procurement practices and the international expansion of Airbus Protect, you will operationally drive procurement activities for the Cyber and MSS Business Units. Based at our Ottobrunn office, you will serve as the pivotal link between project teams in France and Germany. In this role, you will ensure consistency for subcontracting and professional services contracts while actively contributing to our transnational collaboration.
Task description
Policy Execution: Apply and execute the procurement policy across the Cyber and MSS project scope, ensuring the achievement of economic performance targets and savings commitments, while consolidating operational requirements to support volume bundling opportunities
Contract Monitoring: Conduct structured negotiations and ensure rigorous contractual monitoring of project-based services (particularly for the MC-17 FREIA and ENISA projects), while maintaining "Knowledge Management" records for the scope
Supplier Management: Support the development of a panel of partners capable of meeting Airbus Protect's sovereignty requirements, run annual provider evaluation programs, and contribute to resolving commercial or financial disputes
Business Support: Maintain regular technological and market intelligence on cybersecurity niches to track cost trends, support internal clients in defining technical specifications, and update the department's KPIs
Efficiently process purchase requisitions from internal clients and convert them into purchase orders within the ERP system
Ensure that operational requirements comply with Airbus Group standards, internal control procedures, and current legal regulations (including Export Control and Data Protection) when converting them into firm commitments
Required qualifications
The work task requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Business Administration, International Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or comparable courses of study. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways
Skills and competences
Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Sound experience in contract tracking, operational portfolio management, and commercial negotiations in an international environment
Good knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, ERP tools (SX-Everwin), and internal control compliance procedures
Experience in supplier relationship tracking, market intelligence, and updating department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Proficiency and appetite for utilizing Generative AI tools and digital software to optimize daily tasks
Strong technical and analytical skills with an organized and structured approach under tight deadlines
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate in remoe, multicultural, and hybrid team configurations
High level of problem-solving skills, tenacity, reactivity, and rigor
Committed, proactive, and team-oriented way of thinking and acting with a positive attitude
Language: Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Willingness for occasional business trips
