We're looking for a motivated Project Management Intern (ideally 6 months, mandatory internship) to join our Robotics team in Schönaich (close to Stuttgart), with a flexible start date. If you're structured, reliable, and curious about how a hardware and software robotics company manages complex multi-party projects — including challenging humanoid robotics customers and publicly funded R&D programmes — this internship gives you hands-on experience that is genuinely rare in industry.
Maintain project schedules and milestone tracking across multiple simultaneous customer and R&D projects — the structural work that keeps complex parallel workstreams from drifting out of sync
Support regular progress reporting for customer projects, turning internal status into clear, reliable communication that builds confidence externally
Assist with grant administration and compliance documentation — the careful, detail-oriented work that keeps a publicly funded project in good standing with its funders
Coordinate design review and milestone sign-off processes with internal teams and external partners, making sure the right people have the right information before decisions are made
Support consortium documentation and coordination with research institute partners, prepare monthly Gantt/PM tool exports for both customer and grant reporting
Enrolled BSc/MSc student in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a technical engineering degree with a genuine interest in project management
Structured, organised, and reliable — in a multi-project environment, deadline management isn't a skill on a CV, it's the foundation
Fluent written German is essential: grant administration in a German-funded programme requires precision, formality, and zero ambiguity in the language
Working proficiency in English is equally required — customer project communication happens in English, and clarity matters just as much there as it does in the grant documentation
Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Wrike, Odoo, or similar PM tools is a plus and will shorten your ramp-up considerably
Technical curiosity is genuinely valued here — you don't need to know ROS2, but being interested in what engineers are actually building makes you meaningfully more effective in this role
Flexible working hours when life takes unexpected turns
Company support for gym memberships through Wellpass
Birthday vouchers
Drinks and coffee (free of charge, of course)
Snacks and fruit for all employees, as well as breakfast every Monday
Regular global team-building events such as boot camps, skiing, and summer BBQs
An international team with long-term prospects
Highly competent colleagues who are experts in their field and happy to support you in your learning and growth
Modern office space
