MM Flowers is an international business specialising in the sourcing, production, and distribution of fresh flowers and gifting solutions for leading retail partners across Europe and the UK.
As part of our continued growth, we are investing in a major new operational hub in Euskirchen, Germany. This state-of-the-art facility includes a 10,000 m² production and warehousing environment, designed to support high-volume, fast-moving operations with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
This site will play a key role in strengthening our European supply chain and delivering consistent, high-quality products to our customers.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced lead for all production operations at our Euskirchen site. Experience in fresh produce, flowers, or perishable goods is essential.
You will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production across all production lines. You will manage Section Managers and wider production teams, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and continuous improvement across all operational areas.
This is a key role within the site leadership team, requiring strong operational leadership and a focus on delivery, people, and performance.
Team leadership & development
· Lead, coach, and develop Section Managers and production teams
· Build a strong culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
· Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and one-to-ones
· Support training and development across all levels of the team
Quality, safety & compliance
· Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards
· Maintain strict compliance with health & safety and GMP requirements
· Work closely with Technical and Quality teams to resolve issues
Continuous improvement
· Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
· Support lean initiatives (e.g. 5S) across production operations
· Support new product introductions and production changes
Performance management
· Monitor and manage KPIs including productivity, quality, efficiency, and waste
· Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where needed
· Work closely with Engineering to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
· Use ERP systems to support operational control and reporting
What we are looking for
Essential experience & skills
· Proven experience in a Production Management role within Flowers or fresh produce
· Strong leadership experience managing operational teams and middle management
· Good understanding of automated production lines (e.g. Terra lines or similar)
· Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality, and GMP standards
· Experience working with ERP systems in a production environment
· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
· Fluent in German and English
