We're looking for a technically strong working student to support and improve our Jira and Confluence environment. You'll help our teams work more efficiently by building automations, refining workflows, and handling day-to-day administration. This is a hands-on role with room to take ownership and bring your own ideas — especially around modern AI tooling.

Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field (enrollment is a requirement for working student roles in Germany)

Strong technical background — scripting is no obstacle for you (e.g., JQL, Python)

Interest in or experience with Jira/Confluence administration

A structured, problem-solving mindset and willingness to dig into technical configuration

Curiosity about AI tools and how they can improve team workflows

Good communication skills to work with different teams

Fluent in the English Language (German is a plus)

Build Jira automations to reduce manual work and streamline team processes

Improve workflows by identifying pain points and helping teams optimize their use of Jira and Confluence

Set up the OIDC connection between Jira and our Identity Provider (IDP)

Drive agility with AI tools, exploring and introducing AI-assisted ways of working

Benchmark and report on development velocity, throughput, and bottlenecks

Manage access and permissions across our tools

Handle general sys-admin tasks beyond Jira as they come up
