With our HELM 2030 strategy, sustainability is fully embedded in our long-term vision as well as in our day-to-day activities, with a clear focus on climate, biodiversity, and inequality.
The Corporate Strategy & Sustainability Team is responsible for bringing HELM 2030 to life. To this end, we are currently implementing regular strategic reviews, non-financial reporting, new IT tools, sustainability reporting, as well as training and enabling initiatives. In short, we drive the HELM 2030 strategy and all ESG-related topics across the HELM Group.
Interested in contributing to this journey? We are looking for a Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our team. The position is initially limited to a one-year term.
Together with the business units, you enable the organization to achieve our HELM 2030 targets and meet market and regulatory sustainability requirements. In this role, you independently manage selected projects or tasks, supported by a collaborative team and colleagues across global functions.
Your Tasks:
- In this role, you coordinate and support HELM 2030 strategy-related activities, including strategic planning and the sustainability evaluation of investment projects.
- A key focus lies on preparing HELM, together with the team, to meet strategic, market, and regulatory requirements such as HELM 2030 steering, CSRD reporting, ESG ratings, and carbon-related certificates.
- By collecting and consolidating sustainability data from across HELM’s global organization, you contribute to creating transparency and generating meaningful insights into HELM’s progress towards its sustainability goals.
- Working closely with various business units, you support the analysis of sustainability data to drive the achievement of HELM 2030 targets and continuously strengthen ESG performance and awareness.
- In addition, you play an active role in building and expanding a sustainability network, while fostering partnerships that support the further development of HELM 2030.
Your Profile:
- You have already a few years of professional experience in sustainability and ideally in strategy as well (e.g., projects, reporting, communication).
- Ideally, you have a good understanding of GHG calculations, ESG ratings and regulatory topics (e.g. CSRD).
- Sustainability is close to your heart, and you want to make a positive contribution through your actions and to support HELM in doing so.
- You are characterized by a structured approach, reliability, and problem-solving mindset.
- You are a team player who likes to work in a collaborative environment to achieve common goals.
- You have good intercultural social and communication skills as well as a confident and competent appearance.
- Fluent German and English skills complement your profile.
