At Brand Masters, we are looking for an ambitious new Buyer Food & Drinks to join our team in Hamburg. As a Buyer Food & Drinks, you are responsible for purchasing FMCG products, with a focus on A-brand Food & Drinks items. Your focus is on aligning the right purchasing and assortment agreements and expanding the product portfolio.
You work closely with Sales and the Managing Director DACH, in close cooperation with the HQ Buying Team, on acquiring (new) top brand suppliers for new and existing product groups and segments.

Your role as a Buyer Food & Drinks is broad in scope and determines the success of our organization. You are responsible end-to-end for compiling, sourcing, and continuously updating our product range. Below you'll find a selection of your activities:
You generate new contacts and maintain existing relationships in order to maintain and further expand your supplier network in the DACH countries;- You monitor and negotiate the optimal terms and conditions for the best-selling items;
- The market holds no secrets for you. You track developments and market data to stay informed about “new releases” and to quickly spot new listings, promotions, or stock items. Frequent store visits are part of this;
- You make purchasing decisions based on market data, patterns, and logistical information;
- You visit trade fairs and suppliers at home and abroad together with Sales, other Buyers, and/or your Managing Director;
- You control, manage, and coordinate the purchased goods (prices, payment terms, costs, quantities, expiration dates, etc.);
- You coordinate the distribution of purchased goods across the product portfolio and manage purchasing support.

In addition, we ask for:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, and/or category management in FMCG (A-brands);
- At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant additional qualifications gained through education and/or experience;
- In addition to German, you also have very good English skills;
- Proficiency in Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must).
