Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager Development Engineering, you will be part of the R&D team contributing to the development of process technologies and products based on innovative microwave acoustic technology. As an Intern (Praktikant), you will support the team in developing new products, tools and processes.

This position will expose you to fundamentals of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices for Radio Frequency (RF) applications and the manufacturing technologies to produce these. It will allow you to improve your engineering skills and apply your theoretical knowledge.
More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position (different focus may apply):

Ability to understand and effectively apply fundamental concepts from different engineering disciplines, as required for developing and manufacturing microwave acoustic devices.

Contribution to development of CAD tools for acoustic wave devices based on established programming languages.

Contribution to process development projects, conducting process and reliability test campaigns and evaluating results.
Requirements/Qualifications:

Undergraduate Student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent discipline.

0-3 years of working experience.
Competencies

Ability to prepare and conduct tests and evaluate and document results.

Basic knowledge in physics of wave propagation and radio frequency design methods.

Basic understanding of wafer-level and component packaging technologies.

Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C, Matlab, Visual Basic

Thorough working attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and apply acquired theoretical knowledge.
