Team Department: Accounting
Function: is responsible for the independent management of project, construction and financial accounting for selected companies and acts as the central commercial interface between accounting, project management and finance management.
Project Level Tasks
The Senior Financial Accountant supports the Head of Accounting in the financial management and monitoring of PRIMUS Immobilien AG and all of its companies or project companies. The tasks include in particular the following:
· Independent management of project, property and financial accounting of selected companies, especially in the construction and real estate sector
· Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Review, account assignment and posting of complex business transactions, in particular construction, project and development costs
· Coordination, maintenance and analysis of project and company-related accounts
· Independent creation, control, monitoring and analysis of project budgets in close cooperation with controlling and project management
· Ongoing monitoring of project costs and implementation of target/actual comparisons
· Analysis of budget and cost variances as well as identification of financial risks and optimization potentials
· Preparation of accounting and project-specific financial, project and cash flow reports for CFOs, management and project management
· Leading participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
· Final-proof processing of construction and project accounting including provisions, accruals and capitalizations of construction and construction costs
· Preparation, preparation and quality assurance of all documents for tax consultants, auditors and external partners
· Technical coordination of accounting, valuation and financial statements issues with the Head of Accounting and the CFO
· Ensuring compliance with commercial and tax law requirements as well as internal guidelines, processes and compliance requirements
· Careful documentation of all accounting, project-related and closing-specific processes
· Accompaniment and support of audits and tax audits in coordination with the Head of Accounting, if and to the extent that they arise
· Close cooperation with project managers as a commercial contact for project-related issues
· Sparring partner for Head of Accounting and CFO on project, cost and closing-specific topics
· Active participation in the further development, optimization and standardization of accounting, project and closing processes
Qualifications
· Completed studies in business administration, accounting, finance, real estate management or comparable qualification.
· Several years of in-depth professional experience in accounting or project controlling in a management position, ideally in the real estate industry (in-depth knowledge of real estate financing and project cost accounting).
· Nachgewiesene Erfahrung mit Finanzierungsmodellen sowie projektbezogener Budgetierung und Kostenkontrolle auf Senior-Ebene.
· Sicherer, versierter Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel; fundierte Erfahrung mit Buchhaltungs-/ERP-Systemen.
· Fundierte DATEV-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
· Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie gute Englischkenntnisse.
· Analytisches Denkvermögen, eine ausgeprägte Zahlenaffinität und eine strukturierte, detailorientierte Arbeitsweise.
· Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke, Führungsqualitäten sowie ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative.
· Analytisches, zielorientiertes Denkvermögen sowie eine selbständige, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise mit der Fähigkeit, jüngere Teammitglieder anzuleiten und zu fördern.
