Your tasks and responsibilities:
As a User Interface Designer on our team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the visual language of a product portfolio used by thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide. You’ll work at the intersection of aesthetics, usability, and clinical reality, designing interfaces that are visually structured to truly support people in critical moments.
In this role, you’ll develop user interfaces for innovative solutions in the field of advanced therapies used in minimally invasive procedures. Your work helps interventional teams quickly grasp complex clinical information and make safe decisions, from imaging through to the procedure itself. A particular focus is on designing user interfaces for clinical and sterile use, where the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and user-friendliness apply

You will develop high-quality visual concepts and screen designs based on our design system and further refine it as needed.

You will design for a broad spectrum of touchpoints with complex workflows within interventional imaging and therapy.

You will work closely with UX Research, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, and Development, take responsibility for your own projects, and drive them forward independently.

You will experience clinical environments firsthand and participate in clinical observations at hospitals.

You’ll shape the visual design language holistically, from fundamental layout decisions to pixel-perfect execution. In doing so, you’ll coordinate closely with colleagues from the UI Design team to ensure a consistent user experience across all areas.

You’ll become part of a large UI design community where you can drive cross-functional initiatives, find inspiration in creative workshops and brainstorming sessions, and grow together through professional exchange.

Your qualifications and experience:

You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in user interface design, communication design, or a related field.

You have several years of professional experience in UI design for complex software products, ideally in the B2B sector at an agency or in an in-house UX environment.

You have an impressive digital portfolio that demonstrates creative depth, technical skill, and systematic thinking.
-
You possess exceptional visual design skills in typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and visual storytelling.
-
You excel with very good knowledge of Figma and extensive experience working with large design systems.

Experience in medical technology is a plus; curiosity and a willingness to delve deeply into topics are even more important.

You have experience with developer handoffs as well as a good understanding of common front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and other relevant implementation languages.
