We are a provider of individual school aides or assistants - in German “Schulbegleiter” - for children and youth with special needs in the Munich region. Our management team consists of specialists with many years of experience in providing school assistants to children in Munich and regional schools. We are committed to working not only with German schools in the Munich area, but also with all international schools where English is the primary language of instruction.
We acknowledge individual school support ‘Schulbegleitung’, as a dynamic, goal-oriented process that helps children and youth with special needs to gain more independence and self-confidence in school.
Job description
We are looking for school aides/assistants (m/f/d) to support children at an International School.
Are you looking for an important job that makes a real contribution to society and is also fun to do?
As a school aide/assistant “Schulbegleiter/in” you support the pupil in the classroom as needed.
Your tasks:
- Accompaniment and support in everyday school life (also during afternoon school activities).
- Assistance regarding learning pace and behaviour in the classroom.
- Help in maintaining individual skills and promoting new competences.
- Support for understanding classroom rules and pupils’ own and external perceptions.
- Contact and communication assistance with other pupils and teachers.
- Support in the implementation of school activities and clarification of work instructions.
- Close cooperation with parents, teachers, and learning support staff.
- Exact working hours depend on youth office’s approval of assistance (recommended by the school and application by family) and the pupil’s weekly class schedule.
Your profile
- Experienced and strong interest in working with children and youth with special needs
- Patience, resilience and skills in guiding/coaching students
- Ability for self-reflection and willingness to participate in training programms
- Happy to work in an open and dynamic team within a classroom setting
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written (native speaker preferred); German language a plus
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours on occasional school excursions, etc.
- Legal resident of Munich or surrounding area (with work permit)

- Personal introduction to families of the child where we feel there is a “match”
- Liaison with the classroom teacher
- Ongoing training
- A part-time job with all social benefits that is fully compatible with family life schedule
- Opportunity to extend the job contract into the next school year (2026-2027)
