An Experienced Reservations Agent is responsible for managing hotel reservations, responding to guest inquiries, processing bookings, and ensuring accurate reservation records. The role requires excellent customer service skills, proficiency with hotel reservation systems, and the ability to maximize room revenue through upselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels.
- Process new bookings, cancellations, and reservation changes accurately.
- Provide guests with information about room types, rates, promotions, and hotel services.
- Upsell room upgrades, packages, and additional hotel services.
- Use hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Protel, or similar).
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments.
- Ensure reservation details, payments, and guest profiles are accurate.
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries and resolve reservation issues.
- Prepare daily reservation reports and monitor room availability.
- Follow hotel standards and data protection regulations.
