Be part of a growing and energetic Exteriors team to engineer, execute and deliver cutting-edge products to global customers. You will work with cross-functional team members to continuously innovate and launch new products for Europe and other growing markets.
Responsibilities
- Concept engineering and feasibility, incl. packaging and layout within vehicle architecture

Design to deliver customer-driven exterior system targets for craftsmanship, function, cost and weight

Create vehicle-aligned components and develop design concepts and production designs in both CATIA V5 and 3DX, support creation of component specification, component DFMEA and other technical design documents
- Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design
- Support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
- Interface with design studio suppliers, process and production for manufacturing, feasibility, validation, and other engineering activities as specified for the assigned commodity
- Mentor junior engineers and throughout the various phases of the projects.
- Support with recruitment efforts for the Exterior Design team
