In your role, you bring a broad operational HR generalistic expertise and act as a reliable and competent point of contact within the organization. You are an active partner in budget planning and review processes and ensure smooth HR support for production operations. You have a strong hands-on mentality and are familiar with dynamics and challenges of a production environment, including shift operations and workforce planning. You confidently support managers in managing their teams pragmatically and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You see yourself as an interface between management, employee representatives, and employees. In this position, you will be responsible for our two locations in Rastatt and Vaihingen. Your main location will be Rastatt.
Responsibilities :
Advise and support managers and employees in all HR-related and labor law matters, with a strong focus on production and shift environments
Take responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle, including all HR and administrative measures
Lead the HR team both professionally and disciplinarily
Foster constructive and trust-based cooperation with employee representatives
Prepare and review monthly payroll processes
Act as a point of contact for the works council and authorities
Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting
Represent the HR function during audits
Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, especially in production-related HR topics
Profile :
Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in operational HR environment, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment
Proven experience working in a production setting with solid understandig of shift operations and their HR implications
Strong experience in managing staffing challenges in a pragmatic and solution-oriented way
Initial leadership experience is an advantage
In-depth knowledge of labor law
Proven experience working with works council
Strong MS Office skills and experience with SAP
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel
Strong team and communication skills, resilience, Hands-on mindset
Assertiveness, sense of ownership, and a results-oriented working style
