About the Role

Your Contribution
· You prepare and own annual financial statements, including balance sheet notes and actively support management reporting
· You manage and validate GAAP conversions between IFRS and local statutory requirements
· You lead and optimize all corporate income tax activities, including reporting and compliance
· You coordinate and drive audits, ensuring timely execution and follow-up on findings
· You act as a key interface with tax authorities, internal stakeholders and external service providers
· You oversee and steer tax activities across Germany and Switzerland
· You ensure and enhance accounting processes in close collaboration with the accounting service provider
· You deliver and own statistical reporting (e.g. Destatis, Bundesbank)
· You manage and secure smooth banking operations
· You support and align payroll-related topics in close partnership with HR and external providers
· You support and consult in payment processes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers
· You collaborate with the DACH Finance Lead and support in ad hoc finance tasks and finance projects
Your Skills and Qualifications
· You hold a degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience
· You bring at least 5 years of expertise in German accounting and tax, including statutory financial statements and core tax topics (CIT, VAT, provisions)
· You confidently use SAP and MS Office (especially Excel) in your daily work
· You communicate fluently in German and English, written and spoken
· You engage stakeholders effectively, combining strong communication skills with analytical thinking, while thriving in a remote, European team setup
· You work independently and proactively in an international, remote environment, collaborating closely with Shared Service Centers and external partners
· Knowledge of Swiss accounting and a tax regulation background is a plus
