In the AI Department, you'll develop the cognitive abilities of our robots, enabling them to understand and interact with their surroundings. You'll work on algorithms that make machines intelligent and adaptive—ranging from object recognition and language processing to decision-making in complex environments. You'll be part of a team that pushes technological boundaries and collaborates closely with software, hardware, and product management teams. Using cutting-edge tools and methods from machine learning and AI, you'll work on projects that have a direct impact on our products. If you're excited about making machines smarter and shaping the future of human-machine interaction, the AI Department is the perfect place for you.
Be part of the operational backbone of RoboGym— from data quality and team leadership to AI collaboration and customer engagement.
As Data Operater, you are a link between our teleoperation teams, AI engineers, and customers. You ensure that robotic data collection runs with precision and purpose — building the processes, people, and partnerships that make high-quality training data possible at scale.
Your mission & challenges
Operations & data quality
- Own the full lifecycle of teleoperation sessions — setup, execution, monitoring, and post-session review for Neura’s full range of robotic systems (4NE1, MiPA, LARA, MAiRA)
- Define and enforce operational standards, data collection protocols, and quality benchmarks for AI training datasets, driving continuous improvement to maximize data reliability and consistency. Establish documentation and testing protocols.
Team leadership & training
- Lead, mentor, and develop the teleoperators team — setting clear expectations, fostering skill growth, and building a high-performance culture. Design, own, and continuously improve the training curriculum for teleoperations staff.
- Onboard new team members and ensure consistent capability levels across the team.
- Act as the primary escalation point and advisor for operational decisions as well as robotics hardware and software issues within the teleoperations function
AI engineering collaboration
- Partner closely with AI engineers to understand model requirements and translate them into concrete data collection strategies
- Provide operational feedback loops that inform AI team decisions on data design and collection prioritization
- Participate in cross-functional reviews to align teleoperation output with evolving AI roadmap needs
Customer & use case interface
- Serve as a key customer-facing representative for teleoperation use cases
- Translate customer use cases into operational and data requirements for internal teams
- Support customer showcases and demonstrations, ensuring seamless and reliable robotic performance
