The Quality Vision Intern will join the Quality Engineering team, focusing on vision automation systems critical to ensuring high standards in vehicle production. This role involves hands-on work with inspection hardware, camera installations, and maintenance of vision models to support automated quality checks across assembly lines. Collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams, the intern will contribute to optimizing vision-based processes, troubleshooting anomalies, and enhancing overall system reliability in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do-
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on inspection hardware, including vision cameras and scanning automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Assist in the installation of new cameras and vision systems, coordinating with teams to integrate them into production lines.

Request and manage power and network drops for vision equipment, ensuring seamless connectivity and compliance with factory standards.

Develop and update documentation for vision models, hardware configurations, and standard operating procedures to support knowledge sharing and process improvements.

Support the development and refinement of vision automation models, including testing and validation in prototype builds or sub-assemblies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams using internal tools (e.g., JIRA) to track issues, implement fixes, and drive continuous improvements in vision-related quality processes.

Gain a clear understanding of quality vision engineering principles and their role in maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, ever-evolving production environment.
What You'll Bring-
Studying an Engineering discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, with a focus on automation, robotics, or computer vision.

Basic experience with vision systems, cameras, or automation hardware.

Knowledge of networking basics and experience requesting infrastructure drops in a technical setting.

Fluent in English, proficiency in German is desirable.

Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL will be an asset.

Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation.

Ability to handle technical documentation.

Capable of working in a fast-paced, changing environment with a professional and positive attitude.

Prior internship or work experience in quality engineering, automation.
