Your responsibilities
- Manage all financial and accounting operations for a manufacturing facility.
- Drive profitability by providing cost analysis, maintaining financial controls, managing inventory valuation, and leading budgeting/forecasting to support operational decision-making.
- Be regional CMSO point person by setting targets for each region and consolidating analytics for variance for each site and make recommendations for budgets, reforecasting and for LRP process.
- Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term projections. Perform variance analysis—comparing actual manufacturing, labor, and purchase costs against standards—and recommend corrective actions
- Direct the month-end closing process to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. Implement internal controls to safeguard assets, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and external audit standards
- Participate in target setting process for EMEA and provide targets to each site in EMEA and lead coordination and communication with local MBC teams across Europe to align reporting requirements with global teams
- Ongoing development, analysis, and monitoring of production-related key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement within the EMEA MBC's including monthly COS
- Preparation and management of consolidated budgets, long range plan and forecasts in close alignment with business objectives
- Manage team of 4 Members of managers and working students
Your qualification
- 5-7 10 years’ experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection
- Strong knowledge of EMEA GAAP and IFRS
- Cost accounting experience
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office and SAP financial software - experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system is a plus
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries from the business.
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, public groups, peers and staff.
- Must be a team player and act cooperatively with the business
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal
- Demonstrate strong and pragmatic business acumen
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.um amount of formal education, certification, or licensure needed; different level of education that would make candidate preferable
