Design the Future: Define and own end-to-end system architectures for diverse robotic platforms, focusing on technical soundness and alignment to customer and product needs. Translate customer and product requirements into structured, traceable system architecture models and documentation.
Master of Modularity: Architect scalable platforms with clear variation points and product-line reuse; drive platform strategy to enable rapid innovation across portfolio. Strong expertise in requirements engineering, system architecture definition, integration, and lifecycle management.
Cross-Domain Integration: Drive alignment and integration across software, hardware, AI/ML, and mechatronics domains; ensure coherent system behavior and performance, safety, cybersecurity, and compliance.
AI & Continuous Innovation: Define how AI/ML components (perception, cognition, decision-making) integrate into robotic architecture; evaluate emerging technologies and trends to enhance system robustness. Drive continuous innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and trends to enhance system architecture robustness and future readiness.
Technical Authority: Support architectural decisions and technology choices across multiple engineering teams; act as key technical resource for cross-team collaboration and integration strategies. Experience in driving platform architecture and product-line scalability. Identify and mitigate system-level risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early in the development lifecycle.
Education: MSc or PhD in Systems Engineering, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Experience: 3+ years in the design of safety-related systems within complex, multidisciplinary engineering environments; direct robotics experience (industrial robots, AMRs, humanoids) or complex autonomous systems (AD) is a strong advantage.
Modeling Expert: Proficient in requirements management (DOORS, Jama, Polarion) and system modeling (SysML, MBSE, Rhapsody); able to drive requirements flow-down and system traceability.
Standards & Compliance: Familiar with functional safety, cybersecurity, and certification standards (ISO 13849, ISO 10218, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434); experienced in architecture-level compliance strategy.
Integration Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align architecture and technology choices across multiple teams; experience supporting cross-domain dependency management. Exposure to partnership or supplier integration activities supporting technology development and system integration.
