As the Group Sustainability Lead you will be responsible for driving the implementation of Ardo’s sustainability strategy across the Group and translating strategic objectives into measurable actions, projects and performance improvements.
This role reports to the Director Sustainability.
Your key focus areas are the following:
- Lead and coordinate sustainability projects and improvement initiatives, with focus on Climate, Sustainable Sourcing and Resource Efficiency
- Collaborate with the relevant teams and departments of Ardo in co-lead of the sustainability agenda: procurement, engineering, agronomists, site directors, marketing …
- Own Ardo’s ESG reporting and compliance agenda, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements and sustainability frameworks including CSRD, SBTi, EcoVadis and other relevant standards
- You support the Director Sustainability in the development, deployment and continuous improvement of Ardo’s sustainability strategy, roadmap and targets
- Translate strategic ambitions into actionable projects and measurable outcomes across the Group
- Monitor sustainability KPI’s and provide regular performance updates and analysis
- Act as sustainability ambassador and point of contact towards internal and external stakeholders and support the company’s position as a frontrunner in sustainability within the frozen food industry
