We are seeking a Financial Controller (m/f/d), located in Germany, Korntal-Münchingen.
Responsibilities:
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process, including production budgets, labor and overhead rates
Prepare monthly S&OP, rolling forecasts, and profit forecasts at regional and international level
Support strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance insights
Financial Performance & Cost Control
Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
Maintain and continuously improve inventory controls and cost accounting processes
Analyze monthly variances and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates
Maintain and oversee product pricing to ensure profitability and alignment with business stategy
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Consolidate financial results across mutliple regions and legal entities
Ensure full compliance with IFRS, as well local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and advisors across mutliple jurisdictions
Internal Controls & Governance
Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to global finance policies and procedures
Develop and enhance management reporting, analysis tools, and control measures to support decision-making and risk management
Qualification:
Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration
Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
Proven ability to manage complexity in international environments
Knowledge of Germany and International Accounting standards including US GAAP / IFRS desired
Proficiency in spoken and written English, other EU languages are an advantage
Excellent SAP knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP system experience
Experience of working with reporting software tools
At least 5 years of experience in F&A
