What to Expect
The Drive Unit Process Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to aggressively ramp newly
launched products to full-scale production and beyond. The Drive Unit Process Engineer’s primary
responsibilities are: Analyze and Improve Process KPI’s like First part Yield, Yield, Cycle Time, Scrap
and OEE. Recognizing Trends. Implementing new technology and cost reduction plan.
What You'll Do-
Review critical process metrics daily for statistical shifts from nominal and develop game plans to address

Identify and/or develop critical process monitors and metrics for Drive Unit, Stator, Rotor and Assembly.

Use to diagnose issues found during the manufacturing process, efficiently identify root cause, react (but also plan proactively)

Guide and develop roadmaps for aggressive improvement to OEE metrics: Yield, Cycle Time,

Availability, and Cost. Report metrics to upper management

Manage workload with a positive attitude as a team player in a collaborative work environment

Drive continuous improvement and support activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures

High flexibility for supporting several Lines and capability to solve mid-to-high complex topics
What You'll Bring-
B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

Ideally gained some experience in a manufacturing environment.

First experience with process engineering (process development/improvement, troubleshooting, data analysis, constraint analysis, flow optimization, root cause analysis, etc.).

Strong team working skills at all levels of an organization, especially skilled at working with direct labor to understand challenges and work on developing optimal solutions using structured methods.

Capable of identifying critical process parameters and applying statistics to process measurement and control.

Comfortable providing clear and focused technical guidance to outside engineering resources, as well as the Production Team.

Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Fluent in English, German is nice to have.
