We are looking for a dedicated R&D Development Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Research and Development team in the AEP (Advanced Electrolytic Plating) Business Unit. In this role, you will play an active part in shaping innovative technologies and oversee development projects from the initial concept through to implementation. You will work at the interface between research and application, making a significant contribution to the further development of forward-looking solutions.
Your responsibilities

Initiating, designing, and independently planning and carrying out research and development projects

Analyzing the feasibility of new technologies, concepts and product ideas using scientific methods

Conducting applied research and translating the results into concrete development approaches

Continuous development of your specialist knowledge and monitoring of current technological trends and scientific developments

Contributing to the drafting of patents and scientific publications

Close collaboration with various specialist departments and coordination of interdisciplinary projects, particularly with plant engineering
Your skills and qualifications

A successfully completed master’s degree in chemical engineering, natural sciences or a related subject

Several years of relevant professional experience in Research & Development

In-depth knowledge of the application of scientific methods and the practical implementation of development projects

Basic knowledge of process simulation

Analytical thinking, innovative mindset and a structured approach to work

Ability to work in a team and to communicate complex topics clearly

Very good written and spoken English

Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
