About the role
At Ericsson Antenna Systems (EAS) in Rosenheim, our Applied Process Engineering team sits at the intersection of R&D and production — designing the test systems and production concepts that bring world-class antenna products to life. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in taking new products from prototype to serial production, ensuring that every step of the manufacturing process is efficient, reliable, and built to scale. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where your ideas directly shape how our products are made. If you are a hands-on engineer who thrives on turning complexity into clarity, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What you will do
-
Develop and continuously refine production concepts — from prototype phase through to serial manufacturing — including production flow planning and building procedures for antenna products
-
Optimize workflow efficiency and throughput, applying Lean methods, time studies, and structured process improvements
-
Implement and monitor process KPIs, driving a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor
-
Plan and coordinate equipment procurement to ensure production lines are reliable, safe, and ready to scale
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges, reduce downtime, and support smooth development-to-production handovers
-
Contribute to control plans, standard work documentation, and site industrialization activities — with occasional travel (around 3–4 trips per year) to support suppliers or other locations
You will bring
-
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering — or a comparable field
-
Hands-on experience in production engineering, industrialization, or application engineering within a manufacturing environment
-
Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, results-oriented approach to your work
-
The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines
-
Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
-
A proactive mindset and the attention to detail needed to keep complex production processes running smoothly
