Your profile:

An excellent or very good university degree with a focus on economics (Master’s degree or equivalent)

Interest in behavioral economics research
-
Good IT skills (standard applications; knowledge of Stata, oTree/Python is an advantage)

Excellent command of English

High level of self-motivation, flexibility, and resilience
-
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to explore and implement new processes and topics

Enthusiasm for and commitment to close teamwork

You will join a research-oriented team and have the opportunity to pursue your doctoral degree within the PhD program “Behavioral Economics and Societal Transformation”, while benefiting from intensive academic exchange with members of the Institute of Economics and external guests. We regularly organize academic conferences, providing an excellent entry point into national and international networks. The activities of the research cluster “Behavioral Economics and Societal Transformation”, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Mechtel, will be available to you.
